What chemical and method is used?
At MSG, we use an extremely effective product and method of application that enable us to effectively treat all surfaces.
Product
The product used is a viracide called Adsan and is certified and endorsed by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an effective product that kills many viruses and bacteria including COVID-19 :
- Is a broad spectrum disinfectant that kills 99.99% of most harmful Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi and Mycobacteria
- Suitable to use in high risk environments
- Non-Flammable
- SDS Sheet and Technical sheet are carried and supplied
Method
The disinfection application involves the use of an automatic electrostatic mister designed to disperse the disinfectant in fine micron particles that will evenly coat surfaces to further enhance the disinfection process.
This will result in the surfaces becoming moist for a short period after the treatment. This period is when the disinfectant acts and the surface must be left to dry.
There is no access to the space during this period, which is typically 1-hour post completion of application, dependent on the ventilation of the premises.
We give you peace of mind
MSG disinfection process is proven to prevent the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses. Our trained professionals will come fully equipped with the relevant personal protective equipment (PPE*) and will barricade service areas with bollards, warning tape and signage. A service notice will be left behind to advise when the area is ready to be occupied.
*PPE is necessary to protect our staff who is carrying out the sanitizing/disinfection work.
